Team Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role supports the month-end close process, prepares journal entries, reconciles accounts, manages accounts payable and revenue reporting, and ensures financial data accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP, be proficient in Excel, and demonstrate the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position is 20-25 hours per week, offering flexibility while contributing to key accounting functions.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 4-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite).
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP, P&L statements, financial reporting, and the month-end close cycle.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus.
