Job Description
**Duration: 12 Month w2 contract**
**Location: Sunnyvale, CA (100% onsite)**
**Note:**
+ This position is ideal for early-career professionals. Candidates with extensive academic research experience may be overqualified eg: PhD, PostDocs.
+ At this time, the company is unable to provide employment sponsorship. Candidates must have work authorization that does not require employer sponsorship now or in the future. Work authorization must not require current or future sponsorship.
**Overview** :
+ Responsible for synthesizing functionalized resins for column production.
+ Follow manufacturing protocols for resin synthesis.
+ Identify and report production issues; propose solutions.
+ Communicate effectively with production staff and cross-functional teams.
+ Contribute to process improvement initiatives (PPI, 5S, JDI, Safety).
**Minimum Qualifications (must have):**
+ Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or related field.
+ 0-1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Hands-on experience with polymer chemistry.
+ Familiarity with chromatography systems and software (H/UPLC).
+ Ability to analyze resin properties (size distribution, surface area).
+ Proficient in standard chemistry techniques and Microsoft Office tools.
