Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in supporting project management efforts across various departments. This position involves gathering project updates from multiple stakeholders, including manufacturers and contractors, and ensuring that all information is accurately reflected in weekly and monthly reports. You will be responsible for maintaining project schedules, assisting with cost tracking, and facilitating communication between project managers and team members. Your expertise in project controls will be essential in helping the organization achieve its goals efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Update weekly and monthly project schedules based on input from various departments.
  • Gather project updates from manufacturers, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Publish update reports on project SharePoint for easy access by stakeholders.
  • Conduct monthly and/or weekly update meetings with project managers to discuss progress and identify at-risk activities.
  • Perform primary project controls assignments to support Project Managers effectively.
  • Generate reports and assist with control activities as needed.
  • Respond to data requests promptly and accurately.
  • Develop, maintain, and support detailed project schedules and cost tracking systems.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to obtain timely cost and schedule updates.
  • Assist in providing accurate project forecasting and reviewing expenditures.

Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 for project scheduling.
  • Familiarity with SAP Work and Asset Management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of data analytics reporting tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Project Management practices and methodologies.
  • Ability to perform schedule analysis on project updates and contractor submissions.
  • Risk management skills to identify potential issues proactively.
  • Understanding of the project life cycle schedules.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in project controls or related field is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
