Salary:

$60,000 - $65,000 base with additional bonus potential for Analyst (no prior work experience required)
$70,000 - $75,000 base with additional bonus potential for Associate (prior ABL or Specialty Finance experience preferred)
Location: Nashville, TN

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Analyst/Associate to join our Specialty Lending Group. This dynamic and highly visible role offers you the opportunity to interact regularly with clients, including large money-center banks, institutional lenders, and investors interested in the specialty finance space. You will play a key role in supporting clients through financial due diligence services and portfolio reviews, while growing your expertise in this exciting field.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct financial due diligence services, which may include on-site or remote examinations, portfolio reviews, and acquisition due diligence on behalf of our clients
Utilize or create Excel workpapers to perform detailed analysis and testing for each project
Assess transactions on a case-by-case basis, based on the scope of work provided by clients
Produce clear and thorough written reports summarizing results, highlighting key findings, and offering actionable recommendations
Engage professionally with clients, through conference calls, meetings, and regular email updates
Collaborate with decision-makers at the subject company to discuss business updates, address questions related to the scope of work, and gather insights for client reports

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Previous experience in Asset-Based Lending (ABL) is a plus but not required
Experience in the specialty finance space (such as consumer or commercial lending) is beneficial
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word, or similar data extraction tools
Exceptional analytical abilities with a keen interest in learning new concepts
A natural curiosity about transactions and the financial industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time (typically Monday through Thursday)
Salary Range:

$60,000 - $65,000 base with bonus potential for Analyst (no prior work experience required)
$70,000 - $75,000 base with bonus potential for Associate (with relevant ABL or Specialty Finance work experience)
