This position is based in our Atlanta, GA office and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after completion of a successful introductory period. 

Investment Analyst 

As an Investment Analyst , you will play a key role in supporting our Investment Team by managing daily trading operations, maintaining internal data management systems, facilitating communication between the investment team and advisors, and contributing to investment monitoring and research efforts. This position is ideal for an early-career professional seeking hands-on experience in trade execution, data management, and investment research while building a strong foundation in financial analysis. 

Core Responsibilities: 

1. Trading Support 

• Execute daily trades for individual client accounts and investment sleeves, aligning with client strategies and guidelines. 
• Monitor and confirm trade execution, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal standards. 
• Document and maintain trading activity, tracking data for compliance and portfolio reviews. 

2. Data Management of AdvisorTools (Intranet) and Black Diamond (Portfolio Management Software) 

• Maintain and update data records in our AdvisorTools intranet, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for the team. 
• Assist with data organization and data integrity, supporting team use of AdvisorTools for client service and investment analysis. 
• Troubleshoot data issues and coordinate with team members to ensure timely updates. 
• Update and maintain Black Diamond data, ensuring accuracy for trading efficiencies and portfolio tracking measures.  

3. Market Research Assistance 

• Work closely with the Senior Investment Analyst on various research projects, including updating financial models and compiling market data. 
• Develop, maintain, and update performance-tracking models and analytical charts for research use. 
• Conduct basic analysis on economic indicators, asset classes, and sector trends to support portfolio decisions. 
• Support in material preparation for Investment Committee meetings.  

4. Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting 

• Assist in monitoring client portfolios, preparing regular performance reports, and ensuring up-to-date information for Advisor meetings. 
• Compile data for monthly and quarterly performance tracking and benchmarking. 

5. Advisor-Investment Team Communication 

• Coordinate communication between the Advisors and the Investment Team to ensure seamless information sharing. 
• Relay investment insights, portfolio changes, and any other relevant updates from the investment team to advisors in a clear, timely manner. 
• Address advisor inquiries, assisting in data collection and responses for client questions. 

Qualifications & Skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in related business field such as Finance, Economics, Accounting 
• 0-3 years of experience in financial markets, investment trends, economic developments or relevant undergraduate coursework 
• Committed to obtaining the Series 65 within four months of joining, if not already licensed 
• Proficiency in Excel, with some experience or interest in financial modeling 
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills 
• Exposure to tools and technology related to investing, financial planning, and portfolio analysis, preferred (ex. Bloomberg, FactSet, Black Diamond, Schwab, Fidelity) 
• Natural passion for financial markets, investment trends, and economic developments
