Job Description
**Overview:**
We are looking for an I-9 Specialist to join our Legal Affairs team.
The I-9 Specialist will oversee the completion of I-9s for the Disney Television Production entities, ensuring that all US Employees of the producing entity are authorized to work in the United States and compliant with USCIS regulations.
The I-9 Specialist will be located in Burbank, CA.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Ensure every production is aware of I-9 regulations and Disney protocols
+ Review completed TV Production I-9s for errors and coordinate correction of errors with production
+ Be the main point of contact for questions regarding I-9s
+ Assists the I-9 Analysts and/or Manager in gathering visa petition documentation
+ Work with I-9 Analysts to train show staff in I-9 compliance
+ Provide administrative support to department including NetDocs document management and library organization
+ Perform internal audits after shows wrap to ensure all I-9s and corrections are accounted for
+ Stay up-to-date with developments in USCIS regulations
**Basic Qualification:**
+ In-depth knowledge of how to complete the I-9 form including government rules and regulations
+ Extreme attention to detail and ability to efficiently process large amounts of paperwork
+ Capacity to anticipate potential logistical issues and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving
**Preferred Qualification:**
+ Interest in immigration law and capability for understanding complicated workflows related to various immigration-related situations;
+ General understanding of the demands of television production.
**Education Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in California is $55,200 to $71,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
