We are seeking a skilled and dependable Handyman to assist with residential repairs, maintenance tasks, and light remodeling work. This is a full-time, in-person position based in Columbus, Georgia, servicing homes in Richmond County and nearby areas. If you have a strong work ethic, take pride in your craftsmanship, and enjoy working independently, we’d love to hear from you.
Perform general home repairs, maintenance, and light remodeling tasks
Common duties may include drywall patching, painting, plumbing, minor electrical work, carpentry, door and window repair, and flooring installation
Evaluate repair requests and provide on-site solutions or recommendations
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Communicate clearly with clients and team members
Track time and materials for each job
Occasionally assist with larger renovation projects
Required:
2+ years of experience in general handyman, maintenance, or residential construction work
Strong knowledge of tools and materials used in home repairs
Ability to work independently and solve problems on the spot
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must pass a background check
Preferred:
Experience with plumbing, electrical, or HVAC work is a plus
Own set of basic hand and power tools
Full-time (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays as needed)
On-site service around Columbus, Georgia and surrounding areas
Occasional travel within Columbus, Georgia (mileage reimbursement provided)
Competitive hourly pay based on experience ($18–$25/hr)
