Full time employment opportunity for a well-rounded individual with the right skills and work ethic to handle daily superintendent matters for a well-kept, pre-war apartment building in Queens. In addition to performing certain custodial tasks, good basic hands-on skills are required for some light plumbing, carpentry, plaster/painting, electrical and other repair/improvement projects which are part of the job.
Requirements
Five years or more of skilled trade or building service work preferred, with some experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, boiler, paint-plaster and masonry a plus!
Must be able to follow instructions and carry out tasks from management personnel when projects are assigned, and also take the initiative to fix and improve things as needed without being told.
Applicant should have a valid driver's license and preferably own a car. Note that this is a no pets building.
